The A Levels Experience
(in case I forget)

the A levels require consistent hard work, yes the old formula, hard work and hard work. that is to say, no skipping of class, no forgetting to do tutorials, something i'd say i deeply regret. this grotesque inability to perceive the larger picture. a few days before the exams i asked myself "what the hell.. what did i pon school for? do what?! sleep in!!? " yea, i really really really don't know!

in terms of preparation just before the exam, its about studying smart, which perhaps equates to don't-need-to-study-communism. also, there's a limit to how much you can crash or mug in such a short period. here then, i suggest, just get some rest. no necessity to wake at 4am to memorize stuff, its stupid.

during the exam, ensure that you're calm, believe in your self. i quote a certain someone, "don't be a moron." be kiasu, drink brand's essence! also, the paper is about S-T-A-M-I-N-A. do not PANT. just keep going going going going, even if some basket invigilator says theres "one minute left" when there's FIVE. walao, the invigilator screwed my last paragraph up!

mm, request some divine intervention too. and take care of your health. and stop wishing you read your lit texts already.. sheeeeeet...

Review of Papers

General Paper:
Do not linger tooooooooooooo long on the introduction, such that it compromises the conclusion. Ensure there is enough time to proofread (at least twice would be good)

For the AQ, read the goddamn question and be less hasty. I left out ie: didn't see the "with reference to society part" and ended up blabbering shit about bangladesh and iran. what a waste!

Mathematics:
Don't worry if you don't know how to do! HA!!! Just come back to the questions when you're done with the rest, it will fall in place, you will know how how how.

Parts i ii iii of the same question are likely to be related (it depends la), so try to spot a trend.

History:
DO NOT LISTEN TO THE INVIGILATORS. they are trying to screw you up. bring your own watch, alarm clock, whatever. that's what i'm gonna do. haha..
Time management is key. Do not spend 1h10mins on the SBQ, and leave yourself with 30 mins on each question. it makes you susceptible to screw ups. laksmdklasmdoiwlmkadsklmdal;mdsa.
and, handwriting? something i cannot improve on without compromising speed. hoped it won't cost me anything..

haha alright, that's it. more to come, more to go. i wished i have already read all my lit texts. i wish i'd do well for econs and intl history and lit. haha, thats like everything. anyways, this aside, marlow's comment on work as a distraction from the greater truth is making more sense to me, day by day. and, robbie williams is sexed up. haha.. good luck!
