question: how does the mint decide how many dollar coins to print, how many $2 notes should there be, or like $10 notes? and, let's say I don't trust the banks and hoard all my money under the bed. because i have a problem, i keep all my money in $1 coins. so like, I keep asking random people for $1 change till all my monies are in dollar coins. will there be a shortage of $1 coins? then now, how fast would the mint respond?.
